Matlock, Derbyshire - Mount Cook Adventure Centre today announced a leadership transition within its operations team.

After eight years of dedicated service, Lauren Harrington has left the organisation, having made a significant contribution to the development and strength of its operations.

Lauren played a key role in driving operational efficiency, supporting team development, and helping position the company for continued growth. Everyone at Mount Cook Adventure Centre extends their sincere thanks to Lauren for her dedication and leadership, and wishes her every success in her future endeavours.

Effective immediately, George Frost-Gilbert has been appointed Operations Manager. Formerly serving as Deputy Operations Manager, George brings extensive operational knowledge and a strong sense of continuity to the role. His promotion reflects his experience, performance, and ongoing commitment to the company’s values.

While change is never easy - particularly when saying goodbye to a colleague who has played a pivotal role in the organisation’s success - this transition ensures the smooth continuation of operations and reinforces Mount Cook Adventure Centre’s focus on developing strong internal leadership.
