Christmas Fayre
Wander through stallholders in the Lodge and the Carport. Stop by our own Mount Cook stall to pick up your Christmas trail and grab some merchandise.
Santa’s Grotto
Pay a visit to Santa for a photo to remember. A magical moment for children and the young at heart.
Elf on the Shelf Trail
Follow the trail hidden throughout the building - can you find every elf hiding in the nooks and crannies?
Campfire & Carols
Warm up by the campfire with carol singers and marshmallow toasting under the outdoor lights.
Warm up inside, or get creative in Riber!
Festive Dining Hall
The Dining Hall will be serving up festive turkey cobs, loaded chips, mulled wine and deluxe hot chocolates, with sweet treats fresh from the kitchen.
Wreath & Ornament Classes
Over in Riber, get creative in our wreath-making and ornament craft classes, using natural materials gathered from around the grounds.

Pretty Peg Lane
Pretty Peg Lane makes handmade decorations and small gifts, many of which started as a peg doll or dolly peg. They absolutely love Christmas and think that shows in their makes!
Croc's The Vinyl Cut
Croc's The Vinyl Cut joins us with unique designs hand cut with a fine fret saw into old vinyl records.
Kaye Angus
Kaye is a beekeeper, forager and herbalist who produces wax, honey and propolis products for health and home use, seasonal foraged chutneys and preserves, and herbal skin salves, massage balms, and herbal teas.
Phil Richards
Cards, prints and projections of seasonal photos of Wirksworth by local photographer, Phil Richards, taken during almost 50 years living in this beautiful town with its lovely people.
Mental Health Initiative
MHI will be attending A Very Merry Mount Cook Christmas promoting the services we offer for the local community and being a listening ear to anyone who feels they might need some Mental Health support. We will also be bringing along some of our handmade crochet soft toys and items for sale. All lovingly made and donated by our MHI Creative Corner Team.
The Connection Space CIC
Handcrafted small items, such as things made from felt, wool, wood, plus home craft kits to buy for children and adults alike. All proceeds will support our ongoing funds for our local community projects supporting people living with dementia and other mental health challenges.
Julie Edwards
Julie will be selling hand-knitted festive hedgehog stuffed with a Terry's Chocolate Orange, gift wrapped if wanted, complete with a Christmas card and gift bag with tag; and make your own festive Christmas tree in a box, complete with a Christmas card and gift bag with tag.
Sip in Style
Sip in Style brings you a curated selection of glass and plastic cups and mugs.
Ethereal
Handmade creations out of clay, from festive magnets to hanging ornaments. Each piece is made and finished by hand, perfect for adding a little something extra to the tree or the fridge door.
Accustom
Accustom is ran by Alison who hand paints, creates and designs items that are fun and functional.
Seven Layers 3D
They'll be joining us with a brilliant selection of handpicked trinkets and fidgets, from fun little collectibles to satisfying stress-relievers.
