Exclusive Group Hire
Exclusive venue hire for large groups and functions
Surrounded by Derbyshire’s rolling hills, our modern Centre is the ideal venue for groups to exclusively hire for any event or function. The purpose-built Centre includes multiple communal spaces of varying sizes, accommodation for up to 184 guests, well-equipped catering facilities, and a licensed bar, plus a range of adventurous activities!
Exclusive use of our Centre includes the use of 3 communal spaces of varying sizes. Our main room, the Main Dining Hall, is a large versatile space that can comfortably seat up to 120 guests. Within the Main Dining Hall, we offer servery-style catering, a licensed bar, PA system, microphone and Bluetooth Speaker System. We love it when groups decorate the Centre! We simply ask that the Centre is returned back to normal by the end of the weekend.
Mount Cook offers en-suite accommodation for up to 140 guests in modern bedrooms, and a further 40 guests in our unique glamping pods. Included in the exclusive hire agreement, groups will have access to all accommodation and complimentary bedding. Disabled access bedrooms are also available on the ground floor.
Add a completely unique element to your event or function with some adventurous activities! From scaling great heights on our High Ropes course to learning fire-lighting techniques with Bush Craft. There's something for everyone! We can create a bespoke programme of activities which will work around the timings of your event.
Our dedicated kitchen offers a wide selection of dishes which are cooked onsite, and tailored to suit most tastes and budgets. For your special event or function, our catering team are always happy to put together a bespoke menu for lunchtime and evening meals. For some ideas, take a look at our sample menus below:
"The huge amount of organisation, work and really friendly support from yourself and everyone at Mount Cook made it such a good few days. Please pass on our thanks to all your colleagues. I have made a point of mentioning to people locally how good the Mount Cook centre was for the event."
